Benefits_of_OliveOilEditWith all the items we stockpile on a regular basis, sometimes we over estimate how much we can use of the product within the time frame to use it. Its always helpful to find other uses for some of these products to help use them up.

I was just recently made aware of some Beauty uses of Olive Oil. It quite often will go on sale and I know for a fact I have lots of small bottles stocked up. I use them to refill my large fancy Glass bottle that I keep by my stove.

Many of us pay out so much money every year for products that will help make us look younger, however with Olive Oil you have a product you already purchase that can help you.

It has many Moisturizing benefits, which that alone helps with slowing down the aging process of skin, the more moisturized it stays, the younger and healthier it stays looking.

HEALTH BENEFITS

You may already be aware of the benefits of consuming Extra Virgin Olive Oil, its antioxidant properties help to fight cancer. It helps with calcium absorption and to stimulate bone growth. It also helps with lowering bad cholesterol. Provides high sources of the many daily vitamins we need such as Vitamins A, D, K & E and is rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids. The benefits do not end here though.

When applied to the face and body it can help with reducing dryness and help prevent skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis & acne. It has also been found to help with rashes and over time reduces the appearance of scars and dark spots. If you choose to purchase some to keep near your bathroom sink, make sure you purchase a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Read the ingredients and be sure its pure and that there are no additives you wouldn’t want to be putting on your skin. You could also mix some in with your daily lotion you use to help moisturize your skin that much extra.

Some Beauty Tips are:

  • If you have issues with scented oils in your bath, this makes a perfect alternative for an all over skin softening.
  • Apply to your lips for moisture and shine.
  • Apply to cuticles to nourish your nails and skin.
  • Combine with lemon juice for a rejuvenating moisturizer or as  mixture to condition hair.
  • Apply under your eyes to help with bags.

So from the Kitchen to the Bathroom you can start reaping the benefits of Olive Oil and if you are couponer, this will most likely be a cheaper alternative to most expensive moisturizers and creams.
