Bullying has become a huge issue in the Public school system, my son personally has been affected by bullying and for this reason we have chosen to home school him for Middle School and perhaps further if we need to. The stats are crazy on how many kids stay home everyday due to bullying. 160,000 kids!!! Yes you read that right. Whats worse is 2/3 of students who are targets end up becoming a bully themselves. I can more or less agree with that, in 4th grade when it started for my son he was having to deal with this kids and would not fight back, because the school has them brainwashed into the don’t fight back, find a teacher. Well by 5th grade he wasn’t putting up with it anymore and was standing up for himself and for the ones that bothered him the most ended up looking for trouble with them instead of just keeping clear.
