This time of year I absolutely love, I love that I get to spend more time with family as the rest of the year it is always GO GO GO, but during Thanksgiving and Christmas we get to slow down and spend some time together.
I enjoy the nice quiet evening putting the tree up and the kids decorating it. Or about toppling it fighting over who is putting what where LMAO. (ok maybe not so quiet)
This year we get to start a new tradition and set up a train under the tree. I picked one up earlier in the year brand new at a garage sale and have been waiting till Christmas to put it up.

These are our families small yet traditional things.
