I don’t usually blog my shopping trips, I usually just post a pic on the Facebook Page and tell what my OOP was compared to the retail of the items.
However since I have given out lots of cards lately and most people were needing help in learning couponing. I decided my trip on Sunday to CVS would be a nice primer.
I broke my trip into multiple transactions so that I could have the ExtraCare Bucks I was earning pay for the other transactions as I went down the line.
TRANSACTION #1 (I had no ExtraCare Bucks to start, as I have not been in CVS in a while)

Used two $1.00 coupons printed from Welchs Site (also might have them from the 2/12/12 RP)

TRANSACTION #8
Four single Snickers Eggs 2/$1
Four NYC Lipsticks $0.99
Three NYC Eyeshadows $0.99
Used $0.25 coupon from coupon machine on Snickers Eggs
Used two $1.00/2 coupons for the Snickers from 3/4/12 RP
Used one $1.50/2 on NYC Products from March 2012 All You Magazine
Used four $1.00/1 on NYC Products Printable
Paid $3.81 w/tax
EARNED $2 ECB when you spend $5 in NYC Products
I will note my last transaction did not go as planned, for starters now that I look at it, I did not need that 7th product, only need 6. And when I got to checkout they could not get the final 2 coupons I had to scan, it kept giving an error.
Overall here is how these all worked out
Retail Value $73.47 of products
Out of Pocket $18.14 w/tax
TOTAL SAVINGS $55.33
