My Job Chart is the free, easy to use, online chore chart and reward system for organizing and motivating your kids to learn first hand how to Save, Share and Spend.
I have 2 boys at home an 18 yr old and a 10 yr old, they both are expected to take care of chores around the house. Under the roof and being supported, eating my
stockpile. You best be doing some chores LOL.
Anyways both boys fight over who is doing what all the time. I am working at setting this up for them, so there is no question as to who’s turn it is to do dishes or clean a bathroom. Both boys have iPod Touches so they will easily be able to login and see what they need to do.
We plan on also making a list of other things around the house that they can do above and beyond what is expected of them that they can earn money for doing. These tasks can be listed as an Extra Job. Everything in My Job Chart is based on a points system, so you can make your own value. I plan on listing the chores that are expected of the kids at a very low point. However Extra Jobs will have a high point value.
Your child will then be presented with options on how to spend their points. They can request that you put money in their savings, that they would like to donate to a charity, or they would like to spend the points.
You can have a whole list from items they might like to purchase, to fun things they might want to do. You can even have them have to earn time on video games through this. So it is not fully about finances. You make them think about how valuable their time is also.
My Chore Chart is completely FREE and easy to set up, you just need to get creative how how you want tasks completed around your house.
