Written by Tiffany Papageorge and Illustrated by Erwin Madrid: My Yellow Balloon is a charming story of a little boy who befriends a Yellow Balloon he gets at the Carnival. Follow along with his adventures with his balloon and his eventual heart break and how he learns to find his happiness again.

The illustration is absolutely adorable and will draw you and your child into the story of Joey and his balloon. A perfect lesson on how to deal with heart break over losing a friend, favorite toy or even a family member. This book would make for a great conversation starter with your child if a friend has moved away or if a family member has moved or passed away. Joey really grieves the loss of his balloon and eventually finds a way to remember his balloon and be happy.
