Back to School means finding your own style, marching to the beat of your own drum.

Scotch Duct Tape can help with finding your own style, with so many fun patterns to choose from, the bigger decision is what to decorate first.

Cover your basic supplies to make them your own, or take simple things around the house like a Pringles can and turn it into a Pencil cup.

Another easy thing to do and to help your kids not use their pencils till they are nub. Wrap a piece of Scotch Duct Tape just under the metal for the eraser and write a little note reminding them when it is time to toss that worn down pencil. The Duct Tape is soft and flexible enough that it does not hinder the use of the pencil, but sturdy enough not to tear off.

Here is another previous project i had done, my son had ripped his binder and it was looking fairly rough, so I renewed it by covering it in Duct Tape and got him through the last 2 months of school before summer break.

Scotch Duct Tape is hosting a Back-to-School contest that asks teens to create an original back-to-school craft with duct tape and submit a photo that shows how they’re going back to school in style for a chance to win $1,000. The Tape On Back-to-School contest just launched and lasts until August 18^th on the Scotch Facebook page.

Teen Vlogger, Sarai Jones, will be judging the contest and has a created a fun video with locker decorations for inspiration. The contest will include prizes for the top four winners with first place receiving $1000, second place receiving $500 and third and fourth place receiving $250.
